If you’ve been following me on instagram you would know that I recently visited Coorg for a quick trip. I can finally share all my photographs from there now – And what a trip it was! A massive thank you to Renault India and its entire team for having me among all the 18 of us, taking such good care of us and being the catalysts for exciting new ways of collaborating with influencers, bloggers and content creators in India! It was an action packed 2 days and I returned home both exhausted and constantly smiling with immense satisfaction.
18 bloggers were invited to visit Coorg and experience the new Renault CAPTUR and its versatility first hand. We stayed at the stunning Taj Madikeri which was our base for 2 nights and the place from where we officially flagged off the #CaptureYourSenses experience with Renault.
Over the period of the day we not only got up and close with the very stylish SUV, but we also learnt how well it performs in rough & tough terrains – which is why the Renault CAPTUR is a practical choice for SUV. Stylish and suave in terms of its exteriors, smooth lines, the interiors of the vehicle and the 50+ features that are offered as standard equipment. This includes projector headlamps, C-shaped Sapphire LED DRLs and an integrated audio system amongst others.
With the CAPTUR, Renault has managed to literally ‘capture’ a unique segment of the automobile market where stunning expressive design, classy features, innovative technology and a hardcore performance are all offered at an outstanding price and the customer doesn’t have to compromise on any level. They even go an extra step in offering personalizations in the car based on your tastes – 7 exclusive fashion-inspired dual tone combinations, 5 monotone body colour options, 16 different roof decal designs and more than 120 aesthetic and utility add-ons! Phew!
But above all, its the capability of Renault CAPTUR to handle any kind of roads, is
what makes it my first choice as a SUV. We drove on quite wretched paths in Mandalpatti and the CAPTUR delivered a seamless drive and managed to clear big hurdles very impressively even though it is a 2 wheel drive. You most certainly can’t expect other 2 wheel drives to perform so well on this rough a terrain. A few other features that are outstanding is the fact that it is the widest and longest vehicle in its category and come with a seriously impressive ground clearance of 210mm – you’ll be able to tell from the photographs in which I’m sitting next to the car and look a bit like a dwarf (I’m just half an inch shy of 6 feet).
Such a thrilling experience! Hope you enjoy all the photographs from my experience!
Then both Aksheev of @dappersquare and I tested out the ground clearance!
Then we drove to the Old Kent Coffee Estate to get a taste of the famed Coorg Coffee. We even walked through the coffee plantations and saw how it is picked, processed and roasted. Brought some back home too.
