A throwback post from our trip to New York last year. This was the time we were staying at our Airbnb on Wall Street and chanced upon this fantastic area while walking around and exploring the neighbourhood because, well, there is no neighbourhood in Wall Street. Nelson Blue was the restaurant we had a lovely lunch at on a cozy, rainy New York afternoon with the view of the Brooklyn Bridge, great coffee, even better beers and some splendid sea-food. I don’t have any pics of the restaurant or the food unfortunately but, like a true-blue fashion blogger, I did document my outfit for the day. Haah!
Since we were going to be in NYC for a whole month I had to be smart with packing my looks. There were a lot of basics and classics in there so that as many permutations and combinations could have been tried to create different looks. Accessories always add an interesting element so I always carry a good share of them to add a bit of pop in my outfits (they also take up lesser space than carrying extra clothes)
Denim Jacket: Mango
Bag: CIRARE (This used to be my label a few years back. I don’t make any more of this stuff)
Dress + Shoes: Forever21
