Chanel – Le Lift { Crème Fine }

When I recently got my hands on the Chanel Le Lift Crème, it was almost fate, because for a while I had been thinking about getting an anti-aging cream for myself. I’m going to be 27 this year and its high time I started using one. While I believe in the effects of dermatological procedures far more than cosmetics and creams, I do love to indulge my skin in regular pampering to keep it happy. The Chanel Le Lift came in at the perfect time!

It has been slightly over a week since I have been applying Le Lift on my skin and here is what I think of it:
The Chanel Le Lift is essentially a firming and anti-wrinkle cream and comes in 3 different textures meant for different skin types. Since I have a combination skin it only made sense to go in for the lightest one – The Le Lift Crème Fine.

It comes in a 50g packaging with quite a solid jar and costs $165/- which amounts to around ₹ 10,200/- The cream is off-white and if applied twice daily, like suggested, should last you about 2 to 2.5 months. I found the fragrance of this cream DIVINE! and long-lasting as well. When I apply the cream overnight, I find the fragrance lingering in the morning too!. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a good fragrance. The jar, being a bit on the heavier side would make this product best kept at home and not so travel-friendly. Unless ofcourse you swear by this cream.
Chanel Le Lift { Crème Fine } |
The Chanel Le Lift Crème Fine, is the lightest version meant for oily – combination skins. Its a lovely airy and super smooth cream that glides perfectly over the skin, gives you enough time to massage the cream into the skin and gets absorbed into the skin like the air itself. Super easy, smooth and no hint of greasiness whatsoever. It is a fairly hydrating cream but for my skin type, I would still prefer putting on an extra layer of moisturization overnight. The texture for day-time is absolutely perfect.
Chanel Le Lift { Crème Fine } | | Instructions
In a weeks time I have noticed a definitive change in the skin texture. I have been applying the Le Lift during the day and also before going to bed. At night I top it up with a moisturiser. The skin has become smoother and calmer. I have very sensitive skin and this did not unsettle it in any way. Since I do not have a major wrinkle problem at this age, I cannot really say about its efficacy as an anti-wrinkle cream but it did certainly bring about a bit of firmness in the skin. It also evens out the skin tone a bit as I noticed some of my fresh brown spots to be a bit lightened.

I also do wish the design of the container could have been different. The jar with its big top opening somehow exposes a lot of the cream in one go which would probably neutralize the active ingredients if any.

    Thank you for the thorough and honest review! I too have combo skin that is more on the oily side but I’m a bit older (53) but with great, mostly wrinkle-free skin. I’ve been looking for a light, firming, anti-aging night cream and stumbled across this when I purchased a new CHANEL cheek color. I’ve used the Fine sample for 3 nights now and am amazed. It goes on beautifully and there is an instant smoothness. In the morning my skin is still very smooth, and matte and feels almost normal! But like you I’d like a little more hydration at night. I’m going to try the Creme sample before I make my final decision. This is the first skin care product I have tried from Chanel and am quite impressed. I think it will be well worth the $165. I also plan to transfer a small amount to a smaller container to avoid degradation of the active ingredients and for use in travel.

    Not useful text for the women who sholud try this cream. Much more than fragrance, efficiency is important, and I can’t see anything about it.
